FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester) Translucent Sheet is a kind of transparent natural lighting product.

       FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester) Translucent Sheet is a kind of transparent natural lighting product which is shaped through automated processes. It is composed of non-soda fiberglass, reinforced polyester resin, high-performance anti-ageing film (or gel) and additives. Skylite FRP sheet is highly regarded by all costumers due to its special properties: bright and clean appearance, light weight and high performance, high light transmittance, anti-corrosion, fireproofing, accurate cross-section size, non-moisture material, customizable length cut, simple to install and long guarantee period  (as long as 15-30 years). It can provide natural lighting for a large variety of buildings, such as: animal barns, greenhouses, industrial workshops, civil buildings or be used as wall as surface, cover plate and base plate of solar water heater and any other places which would need long-term natural lighting.

Part 1: Base material represents at least 95% of total thickness and total weight of the compound. The thickness of this layer is a decisive factor on the products strength, tenacity, anti- ageing capacity, size and shape. It is made up of 2/3 unsaturated resin, 1/3 fiberglass and a small quantity of additives. TR uses most advanced DTM-1 unsaturated resin and ultraviolet absorbent components in its materials, which makes FRP Sheet anti-ageing capable, resistant to color change, high transparency rate and long lifespan.

Part 2: External Layer Treatment. Generally, Melinex 301 provides the FRP material flexibility, protection against water decomposition and self cleaning function

Part 3: Gel coating surface.Enables protection against water decomposition, and function to absorb UV, prevent the base material from being damaged, increases the anti-corrosion ability.
